So what is the final aim? Well, artificial intelligence software like chat bots are just getting smarter all the time. At some point they will probably be able to fool you into thinking that you actually talked to a real person (even though in most cases you really didn’t). Then they will be able to do all sorts of deceptive things such as pretending to be someone they aren’t in order to win prizes in online sweepstakes or even to obtain credit card information. Until that day comes, you need to make sure that you are using chat bots (whether they are actually chat bots or something else) with the utmost caution!
